Job Description:
- Job Summary
- Responsible for working closely with the Organizational Design and HR Business Partner Team to apply organization design tools and techniques to assess, diagnose, design, and deliver custom solutions needed to optimize and enhance organizational effectiveness. Supports organizational effectiveness projects through data collection and analysis, workshop facilitation, content design, and project management.
- Responsibilities
- Drive partnership with HRBPs, Business Leaders, and Executives to develop and recommend methods to optimize the workforce and embed workforce planning and analytics into the planning process
- Evaluate metrics and benchmarking to apply to SWA organizational improvements
- Identify organizational transformation/improvement priorities in partnership with Southwest Executives and Senior Business Leaders based on alignment to the overall business strategy
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Leaders, and Workforce Planning to optimize workforce labor spend and find headcount efficiencies through Organizational Design
- Provide support to HR Business Partners (HRBP) with data and trend analysis, report writing, research, interpretation, formatting, and problem resolution
- Identify opportunities to improve organizational effectiveness by diagnosing challenges, prescribe solutions, and support implementation, gaining insight from Senior HRBPs as necessary
- Create presentations to communicate narrative and story behind org design and workforce processes and proposals
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee�s Leaders
- Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
- Skilled in understanding and applying information to contribute to the organization's strategic plan
- Skilled in using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
- Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among unrelated events)
- Education
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience
- Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
- Organizational Effectiveness or relevant organizational design and workforce planning area
- Advanced-level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
- Licensing/Certification
- N/A
- Physical Abilities
- Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Other Qualifications
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be at least 18 years of age
