Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in sushi preparation and menu planning. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality sushi dishes and ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties: - Prepare sushi dishes according to recipes and standards - Handle and prepare raw fish and other ingredients with precision - Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation - Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new sushi menu items - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station - Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines Experience: - Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook in a restaurant setting - Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and traditional sushi preparation techniques - Proficient in knife skills for precise cutting and presentation - Familiarity with dietary restrictions and special requests in a restaurant environment - Understanding of food safety practices and regulations within the restaurant industry If you are passionate about creating delicious sushi dishes, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we invite you to apply for the Sushi Chef position with us.
