Description:
Oversee daily practice and weekly competition schedules. Provide bus supervision for all out-of-town competitions, and locker room supervision throughout the season. Build quality relationships with middle school youth (Grades 7 and 8) and maintain cooperative partnerships with paid and volunteer coaches. Build a strong communication network with program staff, parents, and community. Provide inventory management of all supplies, equipment, and uniforms and report competition scores to the Owatonna Middle School Activities Coordinator. Number of Asssistant Coach positions available dependent on student participation.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Two or four-year degree in an education related field preferred. Football coaching experience and knowledge, specifically skill development. Excellent inter/intra-personal skills. Experience with youth leadership and athletic fundamental skill development highly desired. Consistent and reliable attendance. Strong technology skills beneficial.
Schedule:
August 22, 2022 - October 18, 2022 / Practice & Game Schedule / Monday through Friday.
Pay Rate:
$1,250 per season
