As a Radiologic Technologist, you will provide radiology services to patients. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. You will be responsible for:
- Performs x-ray exams according to appropriate industry guidelines and standards. Consults with providers for any clinical deviations concerning patient care/exam.
- Remains abreast of new procedures, equipment and methods along with participation in their evaluation and application.
- Assesses patient prior to exam and records all pertinent information to include, but not limited to, medical history and vital signs. Demonstrates patient confidentiality.
- Performs laboratory tests in the practice including phlebotomy. Maintains laboratory controls, instrumentation, documentation, test reconciliation, drug screen protocols and specimen packaging and labeling.
- Obtains all necessary signatures or direct physician authorizations for all examinations. Assures examinations are compliant with regulatory guidelines. Captures all charges for laboratory & radiographic procedures.
- Responsible for communicating with the public, medical staff, and interdepartmental personnel regarding customer needs.
- Is responsible for helping in all clinical areas and documenting appropriately in the patient medical record

• Graduate of AARRT approved Radiology Program
• Registered Radiologic Technologist, or Registry Eligible
