Job Summary
This position's primary responsibility is to sell memberships, services and programs for HealthPoint Fitness Cape and Jackson. This person is also responsible for the development of effective outside sales campaigns and projects that promote HealthPoint Fitness to our community.
Essential Functions
- Oversees the recruitment of new members to HPF to meet or exceed annual membership goals
- Tracks the success of specific marketing campaigns and projects that relate to HealthPoint Fitness
- Coordinates and manages HealthPoint Fitness corporate sales efforts. This includes identification of corporate clients, converting this identification into scheduled appointments, conducting effective sales presentations, negotiations with the corporate prospects/clients.
- Represents HealthPoint Fitness Cape and Jackson at community health fairs or other public events. Provides information to market HealthPoint's fitness and wellness programs
- Tracks and conducts a follow-up on all guests and tour survey cards to encourage membership
- Assisting Member Services Manager and fitness staff with new member monthly orientation meetings
- Serves as an integral member of the HealthPoint Fitness marketing team. Participates weekly in HealthPoint Fitness Marketing and Management meetings
- Works with Southeast Missouri Hospital Business Development Team to promote HealthPoint Fitness Cape and Jackson services and programs to area physician and businesses. Periodically attends Business Development meetings
- Provides input and feedback from customers designed to improve the services and programs at HealthPoint Fitness Cape and Jackson
- Works in conjunction with HealthPoint leadership team to coordinate member retention efforts
- Works with HealthPoint leadership team to establish monthly, quarterly and annual membership goals. Reviews with Director of Operations weekly sales priorities and upcoming calendar of sales events
- Promotes utilization of HealthPoint Fitness website and trains corporate clients on the use of this website
- Performs job duties in such a way to meet the needs of different populations and ages. Any other duties as needed to drive to the Vision, fulfill the Mission, and abide by the Values of the organization

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Associate's Degree Marketing, Sales, and/or Public Relations preferred
- Minimum of 3 years Experience in sales/marketing within a health and fitness environment preferred
- Minimum of 1 year Customer Service leadership preferred
- Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Upon Hire required
