Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. As a Painter with our Company, you will -Paint heavy and marine equipment and equipment parts using several different types of paint and primer sealers, enamel, two part epoxy paints, basecoat, clear coat finishes and more. Projects vary and range from small parts to large heavy equipment and boats.
-Sandblast and/or clean and prepare equipment for painting.
-Clean and maintain painting facilities, equipment, and tools.
-Order, receive, inspect, and properly store equipment, materials and supplies, and keep inventory of and manage stock items.
-Applicant needs leadership skills to be able to line out help, plan out, understand, and manage timelines for projects both individually and with others.
-Applicant is expected to be a self-starter who can operate and execute tasks without constant supervision.
-The applicant for this roll is expected to work in other shop activities as assigned and needed and is expected to work in a team effort to help the maintenance or service operations become successful.
-Applicant should be able to read a tape measure, operate a band saw, and other basic equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Painter or similar role
- Knowledge of painting techniques and materials handling
- Familiarity with power tools used in the sandblasting and painting processes
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting sandblasting and painting equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
