Position Overview The front end specialist will increase customer confidence and loyalty by providing accurate, fast and friendly customer service and execution of front end processes. This role will satisfactorily resolve customer and cash concerns or escalate them to appropriate level of management.
Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Address customer issues/concerns in a professional & friendly manner.
Opening & closing of registers
Assist with management of inventory, pricing integrity, labor, merchandising & other operational processes
Replenish front-end products, keep work area clean, complete employee’s schedules & manage timely associate lunches/breaks.
Experience in Lotto/Western Union a plus.
Report weekly closeouts
Perform cashier & pricing team member duties
Oversee daily store accounting functions:
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
Successful completion of pre-employment background check, assessment, and drug testing.
Minimum (1) year of experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role
Previous Front-End experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent, with bilingual skills in English and Spanish as a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experience as a SEG associate in the grocery area and at least one other department in the store; or two (2) years proven leadership in the department.
