POSITION TITLE: Clarinet Instructor
CLASSIFICATION: Adjunct Faculty
REPORTS TO: Chair, School of Music
DEPT: School of Music
REQUIRED SKILLS/EDUCATION:
1. Master’s degree in music.
2. Experience teaching/performing professional level orchestral and solo clarinet repertoire.
3. 1-2 years teaching at the collegiate level (TA Positions included.)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Priority duties for this position include teaching applied lessons in clarinet. Candidates may also
teach other music courses that reflect their expertise and meet departmental and university needs.
Salary: Variable income based on teaching load
Starting Date: August 2024
