Southern Botanical’s Commercial Services is currently looking for a Full-Time Landscape Enhancements Operations Manager for in the Dallas area

Summary:

We are looking for an Experienced Commercial Landscape Enhancements Operations Manager that can deliver exemplary, unmatched internal and external customer service. Responsible for the overall operations of the designated production teams. Must provide leadership and direction to ensure team’s goals are met. These goals will pertain to Gross Profit Margin, Quality, Profitability, Adherence to Policy, and Safety.

Position Required Qualifications:

  • Weekly meetings with team members to ensure efficient productivity.
  • Lead meetings and huddles to create a positive environment to build teamwork and a drive towards success.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure a seamless transition from the Enhancement concept with the client to the finished product. Examples are communication, property walks, client interaction, added value ideas, and follow up.
  • Lead Production team on creating efficiencies within their teams that moves them towards improving quality. These efficiencies are found in, planning/sequencing, crew communication, training, accountability, resource effectively, managing equipment needs, and decreasing waste.
  • Vehicle and equipment maintenance. Examples are daily vehicle inspection reports, daily equipment needs, monthly equipment maintenance and inventory.
  • Scheduling all production in coordination with our Purchasing Dept and assigning production crews accordingly.
  • Enforcing all safety policies and procedures.
  • Greenhouse inventory and usage to reduce waste.
  • Working with our Management Team to meet or exceed the “Green Standard” on all properties, which means never cutting corners and ensuring maximum value in the long run by creating healthy, sustainable landscapes from the inside out.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: Minimum of 5 years field-related experience in managing commercial landscape enhancement services. A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or related fields of study is preferred but not required.

Required Certification/Licensure:

  • Valid state driver’s license with significant team building and field experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of plants, landscape construction industry standards, familiarity with tools and equipment used in Landscape Construction.
  • Proficient with spreadsheet, word processing applications, and outlook calendar.
  • Ability to read and assess statistical and operational reports, excellent interpersonal, team building, organizational and managerial skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
