High school diploma or equivalent. Trade school or vocational diploma preferred. Minimum five years of maintenance experience. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience. State Maintenance Electrical License required.

Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews all expenditures on a periodic basis regarding facilities and grounds. To verify accuracy, timeliness, and necessity of such expenses and authorize for payment of invoices.
- Acts as the companies representative in all facility and grounds-related issues. Negotiating and obtaining any contracts, estimates, bids, and repair charges from all outside contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Executes such agreements on behalf of the company after approval of the appropriate administrators.
- Insures that all existing agreements with outside contractors, subcontractors, and vendors related to facility and grounds are being done according to the terms of an agreement to protect the interest of the company.
- Oversees and performs electric work under the required State Electrical License, which includes performing electrical safety checks of equipment, generators, and emergency equipment.
- Acts as a direct liaison between the security companies on an on-call basis. Makes independent decisions at any time regarding building-related matters.
- Performs routine and specific assignments including repairing and maintenance of equipment.
- Assembles, moves, and installs furniture and fixtures. Repairs desks, file cabinets, chairs, and other furniture and fixtures.
- Installs and repairs floor and wall coverings. Assists other staff in handing materials on major repair or installation projects.
- May perform supervisory functions in establishments where subordinate supervisory personnel is not utilized.
- Replenishes supplies in restrooms and lounges, changes light bulbs, makes routine repairs to buildings and equipment. Maintains adequate supply inventories of such items as filters, lamps, and janitorial supplies.
- Supervises on-site facility personnel and contract facilities vendors.
