Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and be proficient in various financial software applications.
Duties:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and timely
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper approvals for payments
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Quicken and other accounting software
- Knowledge of HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems
- Familiarity with accounts receivable processes
- Understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong 10-key typing skills
- Experience with ADP payroll systems
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
