Essential Functions

Organize, maintain, and electronically track all contracts and related documents in Content Central. Track all renewals, price increases, terminations and critical milestone dates.
Perform a review and summary brief on all contracts and assist internal departments with resolving contractual issues, including interpreting contract terms and conditions. Includes creating work directives and billing instructions for accounting.
Review all contract language and help ensure that contracts are following company policy, government specifications, and other requirements.
Managing the review, drafting and redlining of all contract language. Agreements will cover RFP’s, Supplier Agreements, Subcontractor Agreements, PO’s, Client Contracts, NDA’s, Change Orders and dispute resolutions. The Contract Manager will help the organization make informed business decisions on the appropriate contracting strategy regarding desired business outcomes while minimizing risk and eliminating compliance exposure.
Work with departments to create and execute PO’s, Company generated contract language, subcontractor agreements and any Company issued Change Orders.
Support sales on negotiations strategy; develops outside-the-box solutions for and compromises with customers; and at times participates directly in customer negotiations
Support Operations in establishing defined scope of works for projects (templates and client specific ones). Assist in identifying when a change order should be initiated.
Identifies critical pre and post-execution contractual issues and escalates them to the appropriate business or legal partners to mitigate, reduce, and eliminate risks for the business; drives cross-functional team discussions to build consensus and implements the necessary resolution of such issues
Provides management with insightful observations and suggestions for improvement that can be achieved through contractual language.
Support contract kickoff, extension or renewal and terminations as necessary

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Preferred Education and Experience
· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
· 3-5 Yrs. Experience with contract management
· Strong knowledge of computer skills including MS Office.
· Strong analytical and critical thinking
· Good communication skills
· Good work ethic and team-oriented approach
