Southern Glazer’s offers a competitive compensation package with a yearly salary between $70-75K plus incentives. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.
Overview
The Operations/EHS Analyst will partner with the Operations & Environmental Health, and Safety (EHS) team to understand the current and future business requirements and subsequently implement processes, reporting, and analytics that will lead to organizational improvements. They will also optimize existing processes and resources with clear goals and benchmarks of improvement, development, and management of sound business practices. They will ensure the appropriate use of analytical tools, so that analysis and reporting is accurate, timely, thorough, and professional.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the EHS team, Ops team and Supply Chain Executives with providing timely, accurate, pertinent data and analysis as well as aid in monitoring, evaluating, and improving performance and related metrics.
- Develop, design, and manage efficient processes, tabular reports, list reports, score cards, dynamic models, and dashboards that effectively monitor various KPIs, including statistical analysis, cost/benefit analysis and life-cycle analysis.
- Transform Ops and EHS business requirements into meaningful analytics and reporting that the teams can leverage to make sound business decisions and improvements.
- Apply the appropriate use of analytical tools to optimize reporting for current business requirements and create new processes and solutions for future business requirements.
- Support the long-term vision of the supply chain through effective implementation of business processes and best practices to enable the advancement of SGWS goals.
- Act as the trusted source of truth for all Operations and EHS related data, analytics, and reporting.
- Perform other job-related duties, including preparing training material and providing mentoring and support to other analysts to assist in their development surrounding data, processes, reporting and utilizing self-service tools.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Computer Sciences, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in computer sciences or data analytics with demonstrated experience analyzing injury and illness rates and fleet safety metrics
- Strong knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI report development
- Proficient with various EHS data management systems (e.g., Intelex, Benchmark (Gensuite), etc.)
- Working knowledge of warehouse distribution operations and logistics, inclusive of fleet management
- Strong organizational and project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects.
- Excellent leadership, consulting, customer service, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing, improving, and streamlining processes and reporting.
- Thorough analytical, investigative, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
