Overview:

The Peer Recovery Support Specialist provides a variety of services to consumers who are experiencing substance use challenges with the overall goal of providing them with a strong foundation for recovery.

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of experience working with consumers with substance use challenges (preferred)
  • At least two (2) years of sobriety
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record

*After hire, a timeframe will be given to complete PRSS certification from the West Virginia Certification Board for Addiction and Prevention Professionals (WVCBAPP).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.63 per hour
