Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), integrated within Student Health Services (SHS), at SIU Carbondale, is seeking applications for our Chief Psychologist/Assistant Director Counseling and Psychological Services position. This is a 12-month, full-time appointment. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package, professional liability coverage, and salary commensurate with experience.

CAPS is integrated within SHS, a state-of-the-art ambulatory health care facility. Interdisciplinary care is a central value of CAPS and we stand committed to providing affirming care to students of all backgrounds and identities. CAPS maintains a large, APA accredited internship and serves as a practicum training site for SIUC students from a variety of graduate programs. Required Qualifications:
Earned doctorate in counseling or clinical psychology from APA accredited program.
Successful completion of APA accredited pre-doctoral internship in professional psychology.
Licensed as a psychologist in State of Illinois or licensed psychologist in another state and is eligible to become licensed in Illinois within six months of employment.
Three years licensed clinical experience
Three years supervisory experience is preferred.
University or community health experience also preferred.
