Quality Control Representative

Southern Infrastructure Group, LLC (SIG) is seeking an experienced Quality Control Representative a flood control dam rehabilitation project in Lockhart, Texas. Work week is typically five days per week, ten hours per day with occasional weekend work. Pay range is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour, OT at $37.50 - $45.00 per hour and $85 per day per diem.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

· Experience required in heavy civil construction including earthwork, concrete structures, water diversions, and piping systems

· Experience with quality control testing including soils, aggregate, and concrete.

· Basic computer skills, including word processing and basic report writing

· Ability to provide written instructions and communicate effectively with other project team members

· Ability to lift to 50 pounds periodically throughout the day and work outside in all weather conditions

Responsibilities

· The primary function of the Quality Control Representative will be to observe all construction operations, ensure compliance with plans and specifications

· Coordinate with third-party quality control testing technician and laboratory material sampling, testing and reporting of results for earthwork operations, aggregates, and concrete placements

· Write and submit Daily Field Reports documenting work performed by the various contractors and indicating compliance/non-compliance with plans and specifications

· Assist with other duties as assigned by project supervisors

· Take daily progress photographs and upload to computer files

STARTING PAY

· Beginning Hourly pay of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour and $37.50 - $45.00 per hour overtime

· Daily Per Diem of $85.00 per workday
