Shipping associate

Assists in the Shipping Department by providing support in the Warehouse with loading / unloading trucks timely and accurately.

Provide support for all warehouse operations in order to meet customer delivery expectations. Accountable for inventory accuracy and safety in the department.

• Follow company policies and take a team approach to tasks as well as the ability to work without supervision.
• Arrange for proper maintenance and good housekeeping of machines, equipment, and facilities within the area of responsibility.

Skills / Requirements

• 3 or more years of in-plant experience or combinations of school and experience may be considered.
• Specific knowledge in material handling solutions, computerized warehouse management systems and shipping is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
