Warehouse Delivery Driver

Southern Star is a Regional Service Provider for DISH. We provide high quality and timely installation, upgrade, and service call work for DISH customers in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and New Mexico. We foresee continued growth as we focus on operational excellence and outstanding customer service.

Warehouse Delivery Drivers will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of equipment to predetermined locations on daily assigned routes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· We are looking for Warehouse Delivery Drivers to assist deliver necessary equipment to our Satellite Technicians.

· We will run your driving record for the last 3 years.

· We will also complete a background check and drug test.

· Our drivers must be 21 or over, but do not require any specialized licensure

· You will work a 4-on / 3-off schedule to include weekends

· We are looking for drivers that can adapt to change easily.

· Days typically run 10 hours which may require you to begin your route or end your route after dark.

· You will need to be able to keep a steady pace as you will have anywhere from 4 to 10 delivery locations a day.

· These stops will consist of various storage unit locations where new equipment will need to be delivered, old equipment will be picked up, and trash will be collected and returned to the warehouse for disposal.

· This is a physically demanding job. You will be required to get in and out the vehicle many times a day to make deliveries.

· Your day will include a great deal of walking and lifting as required.

· You could be lifting packages up to 50 lbs.

· You will be assigned a vehicle each morning and return it at the end of each day.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Must be at work fully prepared and on time for the entire duration of every scheduled workday.

· Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends.

· Must be able to begin the day early and/or work into the evening on scheduled days.

· Must be able to work in variable weather environments including heat, cold, rain, etc.

· Valid US Driver’s License.

· No Criminal Record and must be drug-free.

· Strong customer service skills; friendly, approachable, and motivated, with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
