What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lot Attendant position at Southern Team Automall?
Southern Team Automall, Virginias' #1 Volume New Car Dealer is seeking motivated, energetic individuals that are able to learn quickly and start generating results immediately. We have an opening for a qualified Lot Attendant in our Christiansburg, Virginia, location. This position works mainly outside in all types of weather and requires attention to detail. The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare vehicles to be ready for display on the lot, including taking photographs.
This position is full-time.
Candidates must be at least 20 years of age with a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record with no DUI or reckless driving.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
- Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
- Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
- Parks new vehicles in assigned areas.
- Catalogs and stores keys.
- Assigns stock control numbers to cars.
- Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.
- Delivers sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Able to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles.
- Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight and small spaces.
- Highly professional and dependable.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role a plus.
- Must be at least 20 years of age
