NOTICE OF VACANCY for the 2024-2025 School Year
POSITION: LPN Nurse – Full Time – 36.25 hours per week
LOCATION: Derynoski Elementary School
SALARY: $26.76 - $32.50 per hour (Union contract currently under negotiations)
QUALIFICATIONS:
Work under the direction of the school principal and School Nursing Supervisor to
provide comprehensive school health services, and assist in securing for every
child, themost immediate and professional care possible in theevent of illness or
injury at school. Must adhere to the health regulations of the State of Connecticut,
and the Southington Board of Education.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold valid Nursing license from State Department of Health to practice
Licensed Practical nursing. Must have at least one year of nursing experience within the
last five years. Pediatric experience preferred but not required. Ability to be flexible
assignment and work in team environment. CPR certification required.
