What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Technician position at SouthPoint Bank?
The IT Technician is an entry level position responsible for assisting in the information technology and security areas as required and ensuring the services are meeting the needs of the bank. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Work with the IT team to implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company to ensure the computer capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company’s growth and objectives.
- Help ensure the security of the information systems, communication lines and equipment.
- Assist with the development, review, and certification of all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans.
- Assist and support of company infrastructure to guide individual divisions/departments/sites in computing and information technology efforts.
- Comply with all of the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, and other related regulations.
Implement and maintain computer workstations, telephones, and other banking equipment.
The IT Technician also assists with the bank’s information security program by providing the necessary support for the ongoing operations of the bank.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.25 - $20.20 per hour
