Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day onsite construction activities, ensuring that work is being completed safely, on-time, in a quality manner, and within the set budget.
  • Manages a three week look-ahead schedule and maintains an aggressive approach to the schedule completion
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all deliveries (equipment, materials, etc.) are delivered on schedule and stored appropriately.
  • Track material and equipment procurement and other long lead items
  • Develop and implement quality control programs
  • Utilize our Procore software in the following ways:
  • Hold weekly safety meetings utilizing the meeting tab – ensuring clean and safe job sites
  • Maintain daily log books in regards to personnel, weather, delays, etc.
  • Notify subcontractors in writing of delays in the observation tool
  • Review Drawings and Submittals
  • Photo documentation of progress
  • Ensure that posted safety regulations are followed by everyone on site
  • Manage subcontractors, hosting bi-weekly meetings ensuring they are meeting contractual obligations
  • Thorough understanding of drawings and details of each assigned project
  • Effectively communicate with the Project Manager
  • Perform various material quantity takeoffs for the project

  • Proficient in ProCore or similar construction management software

  • Possess valid driver's License and good driving record

Education and/or Experience:

  • 5 years of comparable experience

Work Location:

  • Able and willing to travel to jobsites throughout Metro Atlanta; Columbus, GA area; Macon, GA area; and South Carolina
  • Meal per diem and lodging reimbursement provided when commuting to job site is not reasonable as agreed to by direct supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
