Job Summary:
The National Director of the Refugee and Migrant Behavioral Health Technical Assistance Center holds the ultimate responsibility for the Refugee and Migrant Behavioral Health Technical Assistance (TA) Center. Provides comprehensive oversight of all project components, responsible for overseeing the successful execution of program requirements, objectives, metrics, and reports. Holds primary responsibility for the development and maintenance of an advisory board that provides guidance on the priorities and work plan of the TA center to be accomplished in the first four months. Co-leads the creation of partnerships with public and private organizations that offer legal and social services to develop a comprehensive directory of the resources available to refugees and migrants.
Essential Functions:
Responsibility for the oversight of the project's activities, performance, and outcomes.
Leadership to set, monitor, and adjust the strategic direction of the project, ensuring alignment with SAMHSA's grant objectives and the unique needs of providers.
Team oversight, supervision, and mentoring of key personnel, including the Program Manager, Lead Clinical Consultant, and other direct reports, fostering a cohesive, high-performing team.
Stakeholder engagement as the primary liaison with SAMHSA, partners, advisory board members, and other stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and strong collaboration.
Financial management oversight of budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting.
Performance focused to define and monitor key project metrics and milestones are consistently met and exceeded for both project staff and sub-awardees and partners.
Risk management on potential risks and challenges and developing risk mitigating strategies.
Continuous improvement and promotion of continuous learning and development.
Ensure compliance and adherence to SAMHSA's guidelines, regulations, and SWK policy.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of bachelor's degree in social science or health-related field; master's
Minimum of seven years in project or program leadership, behavioral health, or social
Experience in leading large-scale programs within nonprofit, healthcare, or social This position requires the individual to be trained in programs, practices, and policies that are recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and equity-based to improve behavioral health.
