Job Summary:
The Provider Engagement and TA Coordinator oversees the Provider Engagement Specialist team and ensures the strategic engagement of behavioral health providers and other partners with the resources offered via the SAMHSA grant project. The primary focus is on enhancing behavioral health support for Refugees and Migrants (R/M). Holds primary responsibility for oversight and implementation, within six months of the project's start, for the creation of a strategy and marketing plan that uses data to get service providers interested in the program, which must be updated throughout the period of performance. Provides Targeted TA & Coaching and leads the development of the partnership service directory.
Essential Functions:
- Strategic Leadership: Define and refine the overarching strategy for engaging behavioral health providers, ensuring alignment with the goals of the SAMHSA grant.
- Team Supervision: Directly supervise the Provider Engagement Specialist team, providing them with guidance, training, and support as necessary.
- Relationship Management and Collaboration: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key behavioral health providers and other stakeholders, such as NGOs, government agencies, and CBOs serving the R/M community, understanding their unique needs and challenges. Assists in the creation and implementation of a plan to provide targeted TA and coaching for organizations that serve R/M people.
- Performance Analysis and Process Improvement: Monitor engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of outreach initiatives and continuously refine provider enrollment and engagement.
- TA & Coaching: Organize, supervise and lead individual and group TA, conduct training and other events to build the capacity of the Partner Engagement Specialist team and the broader staff.

Skills and Knowledge Required
- Comprehensive understanding of the behavioral health landscape and the challenges faced by R/M. This position requires the individual to be trained in programs, practices, and policies that are recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and equity-based to improve behavioral health.
- Advanced proficiency with electronic delivery and management systems.
- Thorough knowledge of SAMHSA's guidelines and grant requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in the realm of community engagement or outreach.
- A track record of successful partnership-building with a range of stakeholders, especially in the behavioral health sector.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; master's degree in public health, Social Work, Counseling, or related field strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of four years of experience in community engagement, with at least three years in a supervisory or managerial role, ideally in the behavioral health or nonprofit domain.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to read, write, and communicate both verbally and in written form to express and exchange ideas. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to access all components of workstation and other office equipment. Frequent typing, writing, bending, and twisting. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
Work Environment:
General office environment with moderate noise. This position is mostly sedentary, involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. A busy environment with many unscheduled interruptions. Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time. Public contact position requiring appropriate business apparel.
