Overview
The Supervisor of Market Forensics leads a team of technical staff in their responsibilities to support the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) electricity markets. These responsibilities include market operations support, market analysis, and market software implementation support. This position manages the work to ensure deadlines are met, and a high level of accuracy is maintained.
The Supervisor of Market Forensics works with multiple SPP departments and members to resolve market issues, disputes, and inquiries, and updates management on the results of relevant market analysis. This position ensures that proper records of evidence are maintained for key processes and audits, and contributes to SPP committees and working groups as needed.

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Working extended hours may be required.
Travel Requirement:
This position requires moderate (approximately 20%) travel.
