The Transportation Ride Coordinator schedules rides for eligible clients. This may be done directly with the client, or through a third-party payor. The Transportation Ride Coordinator enters client, payor and ride information into transportation databases, dispatches drivers for contracted rides, tracks and monitors ride delivery and initiates invoicing when rides are completed. The Transportation Ride Coordinator maintains relationships with partner agencies to monitor and assess demand for ride services, and to match the need for rides with appropriate ride providers.
This is a fast-paced job for someone that’s good on the phone, can keep track of details, and think-on-your feet. Previous experience in a customer service setting would be an advantage.
Transportation Ride Coordinator is a full-time, Monday Through Friday job between 30 and 40 hours per week. SWCAP offers a generous benefits package that features health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance and lots of paid time-off. The starting pay rate for a Transportation Ride Coordinator is between $17.00 and $17.25 per hour depending on qualifications.
