Rental Manager

We are seeking an experienced Rental Manager for an established long and short-term rental program located in St Augustine.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to capture rentals/reservations by utilizing effective communication techniques.
• Communicate regularly with owners, tenants and vendors.
• Maintain weekly and monthly reports.
• Assist guests and residents; deliver the highest standards of service to all customers .
• Schedule housekeeping and unit turnovers
• Manage the exceptional maintenance team.
• Effectively manage daily correspondence and operational tasks to exceed customer expectations.
• Assist customers with questions regarding their existing reservations and rentals.
• Provide concierge services with general knowledge of the property and surrounding area including restaurants, entertainment, special events and general directions
• Acquire new rental properties and develop marketing strategies to increase inventory.
• Maintain owner and resident relations via proactive and prompt communication.
• Assist with guest check-ins and routine property inspections.
• Investigating and resolving tenant complaints; enforcing rules of occupancy
• Enforce occupancy policies and procedures
• Proficiency in company software (VRM) and organizing/prioritizing management duties
• Proficient knowledge of owner agreement and fair housing

Skills:

• Problem solving skills
• Fast learner w/ excellent organizational skills.
• Must be well versed in all Windows programs. VRM, Airbnb and VRBO experience a plus.
• Outstanding communication skills (written and oral)
• Flexibility of schedule necessary; some weekends and on call required.
• Strong customer-service focus
• Attention to detail
• Possess basic bookkeeping skills
• Strong computer proficiency.
• High level of initiative
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to multi-task and work within several computer applications at the same time.

Only individuals with property management or rental/hotel experience will be considered. Salary dependent on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
