Space Metrics, Inc is currently searching for a Front Desk Receptionist at least 1 year of relevant experience. The individual must be capable of working in a diverse environment, strive to provide the best customer service and have the ability to manage multiple priorities. They must be experienced in the full suite of MS Office products, and be a highly motivated, organized self-starter with strong attention to detail. Ideally, the selected candidate must have proven skills in successfully executing front office duties in a professional, positive and friendly manner.
Positions Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position will possess expertise in Front Desk Receptionist activities and maintain accountability for the following:
Managing the processing of visitors to the facility – providing/tracking visitor identification, badges, and parking tags.
Handling telephone communications professionally. Receiving and delivering faxes, calls / phone messages to the appropriate staff.
Assisting the facility manager with responses to telephone trouble calls.
Managing the mailroom and processing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
Performing office duties including maintaining visitor logs, vehicle lists and reservations, photocopying, word processing, scanning, shredding and other clerical tasks.
Coordinating the tracking of keys for government vehicles provided for general staff use.
Exhibiting attention to detail and maintaining neat, legible and up-to date office related lists.
Providing general backup administrative duties to the Administrative Support staff as needed.
Interfacing professionally and gracefully with a diverse public and co-workers in person, in writing, and by phone.
Maintaining poise and self-control under stress and in emergencies.
Presenting a professional image, welcoming personality and positive attitude amongst coworkers and while greeting visitors to the facility.
Qualification
High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree desirable.
1-3 years of front office reception experience working in an office environment using computers, office equipment and telephones to carry out diverse administrative duties.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills
Special Duties Or Conditions
Must be eligible to work in the United States, and pass a background check
May be required to pass additional federal government security screening
