TITLE: Manufacturing Testing and Reporting Technician
TYPE: Direct-Hire
LOCATION: Southampton, PA
ONSITE/REMOTE/HYBRID: 80 % on site
START DATE: March 2023
SHIFT: 1st shift, M-F
VACCINATION REQUIREMENT: none
We are looking for a Manufacturing Testing and Reporting Technician who can take ownership of ad-hoc product testing requests that come from the business. You will be responsible for performing testing and analysis as well as working with 3 rd party vendors to have them perform testing and analysis. Previous experience in a similar role is required.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform both physical and analytical testing for a tangible product.
- Perform stress tests to see the conditions where product will malfunction/break.
- Ensure compliance with internal test protocols and keep test specimens as set forth in the company policies.
- Improve testing processes to gain efficiency in both cost and accuracy.
- Report results to various business users along with advising on recommendations for improvements.
- Design work instructions and working test protocols for newly created procedures as needed.
- Oversee the test lab and all test equipment located within.
- Manage the inventory of testing supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of professional experience in engineering testing services such as functional testing, rheology, physical properties testing, thermal analysis, etc.
- Must have strong problem-solving abilities with manufacturing/engineering bases problems.
- Able to work independently and on multiple projects at the same time, must be a motivated individual.
- Outstanding communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills are required and must be able to balance meeting set goals, multiple projects, and project tasks.
- Able to work with flexibility and high energy in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of management cross-departmentally in an effective manner.
