Junior Project Management Specialist

Come join our team we support a recently awarded 5-year government contract supporting Business Operations, Customer Portfolio Management, and Horizontal Integration in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division's (NAWCAD) Digital Networks & Applications (DNA) Department.

Position Type: Full-Time
Work Site: Patuxent River, MD
Work Location: PAX with telework opportunities (see COVID-19 procedures below)

**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. On-site support at PAX may be required; however, some telework will be allowed with approval.  Future on-site/telework requirements may change if additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• Analyze, document, and coordinate the requirements, schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of a product or service on a per project basis.
• Tracks program/project status and schedules.
• Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.
• May serve as a point of contact for the client or customer.
• May assist in the development of customer service agreements and tracking of customer performance data.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required:

• Experience performing the roles/responsibilities listed above.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desired:

• Incumbent experience within the Business Operations/Front Office, Customer Relationship Management, and/or Horizontal Integration areas of NAWCAD DNA.

Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required. Interim secret clearance acceptable to start. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS/BA or AA/AS degree and 1 year of related experience OR HS and 2 years related experience.
