About The Role
The Copywriter Manager will support the Brand Marketing & Creative Team by turning creative direction into compelling copy and stories. This role is responsible for writing creative content and brand messaging that elevates the SPANX brand across all channels. The position will report to the Senior Manager, Copy.

- Understand and maintain the SPANX brand voice while balancing technical product needs
- Collaborate closely with graphic designers to bring concepts to life
- Craft strong and engaging copy focusing on product benefits, style and innovation
- Contribute to email, spanx.com, paid ads, SMS, web assets, product copy and more
- Oversee PDP copy and ensure consistency with brand voice; upload all product copy to PIM
- Own promotional copy for SPANX sales
- Write and update copy for non-product sections of the site as needed (customer service notes, FAQ, Return Policies, etc.)
- Execute copywriting strategy across various channels
- Drive continual improvement among copy and creative team processes
We require…
- Exceptional writing skills, excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Minimum 5 years creative copywriting experience. Apparel or retail industry preferred
- Experience with integrated, multichannel brand work (video, print, OOH, social, experiential, paid digital etc.)
- Knowledge of industry standards and copy best practices
- Excellent story-telling skills and understanding of how copy relates to design
- Strong understanding of grammar and adept proofing skills
- Ability to maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment and rapidly growing company
- Highly organized; comfortable working on multiple projects at once
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively
- Openness to receiving and learning from constructive edits and copywriting feedback
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, asset management tools, image banks, Workfront and other project management software
- BA or BFA in English, Journalism, Creative Writing or similar fields
- Must submit cover letter and creative portfolio to be considered
- PERFORMS OTHER RELATED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS REQUIRED
