Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting outdoor power equipment to and from customers.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and timely deliver products to and from customers
- Load and unload new equipment in showroom
- Follow routes and time schedules
- Communicate with Store Manager
- Adhere to all safety regulations and traffic laws
Skills:
- Customer service skills to interact with customers professionally
- Ability to handle heavy lifting when loading and unloading equipment
- Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment for moving goods
- Proficiency in driving various vehicles such as tractor-trailers, box trucks, vans, or courier vehicles
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and customers
Preferred Skills:
- Experience driving a tractor-trailer or box truck
- Familiarity with operating a forklift or pallet jack for loading/unloading
- Previous experience as a van driver or courier
