Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility

• Must have ability to work independently and as a team member

• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others

• Conduct all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies
• Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
• Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong organizational skills

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans

• Dusts and damp mop floors following approved procedures

• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement

• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment

• Sanitize all surfaces and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.

Job Type: Part-time/ Full-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Schedule:
Evening shift/Day shift
Sunday - Saturday

Experience:
Custodian: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)

Work authorization:
United States (Required)

Work Location:
Multiple location in Baton Rouge, La.
**Must live within fifteen miles of Baton Rouge, La.

Pay Frequency:
Bi weekly/Twice monthly

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend written documents fluently.
*Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
