Our growing, technologically advanced optometry office is seeking a Patient Coordinator.

Patient Coordinator primary responsibilities:

  • Telephone and in-person contact with patients
  • Ensuring accuracy of patient information
  • Processing of patient insurance claims
  • Accepting patient payments

The following factors are essential to this position:

  • A positive outlook and a compelling desire to help others
  • Be a self-starter who values accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient with computer based applications such as MS Office, Adobe, and electronic health record
  • Able to manage competing priorities; excellent organizational skills and good time management
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance

Experience in this field is a plus, but we are happy to train the right person with a fantastic attitude!

Salary is commensurate with experience.

We offer compensation for certification and continuing education, accrual-based paid time off, paid holidays, employee and family vision care and eye wear, and a Simple IRA retirement savings program.

Our office hours are:
Mondays / Wednesdays / Thursdays 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
Tuesdays 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Fridays 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 42 per week
