Sparks Group has partnered with a non-profit organization seeking a Senior IT Security Administrator to join their team. This direct hire role is hybrid remote (10 days in the office per month). The Administrator will design, implement, and maintain physical and technical security measures to protect their IT infrastructure, data centers, and office facilities including Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments.

The Administrator will design, implement, and maintain physical and technical security measures to protect their IT infrastructure, data centers, and office facilities including Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage/monitor access control systems, video management systems, alarm systems, and other physical security measures in both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
- Manage/configure firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems as well as other security appliances on both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk assessments
- Monitor/investigate security incidents including intrusion attempts, malware infections, and data breaches
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure security policies and procedures are followed throughout the organization
- Develop/deliver security awareness training to employees
- Implement/maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for hybrid environments
- Prepare/maintain security documentation including policies, procedures, and reports for both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
Qualifications/Background Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field
- 5 years of IT security experience with a focus on physical and technical security measures
- Strong technical knowledge of networking, systems administration, and cybersecurity
- Knowledge of O365 and Azure cloud security and administration
- Experience with hybrid IT environments including on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure
- Experience with access control systems, video management systems, alarm systems, and other physical security measures
- Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and other security appliances
