Experienced Baker

Hello Portland! Sparrow Bakery is looking to hire Professionally Experienced Full Time (4 days/week) or Part Time (2-3 days/week) Bakers to join our family! We are looking for a committed, industry professional, who is ready to land a serious career in baking. Ideal candidates will have food service and baking experience.

Production Bakers work with a team in one of various aspects of our Bread and Pastry baking programs, including but not limited to: scaling and mixing our bread and pastry doughs; shaping and hand laminating bread and pastry doughs; proving and baking bread and pastry products; quick and sweet breads prep; cookie decorating; packing and labeling products for retail and wholesale delivery. All positions being offered to professionally experienced bakers will be tailored to their skill set and interest, will be fast paced and challenging, provide opportunities for professional growth and goal achievement; every team will offer a robust social experience, every individual will find managers available to them for support, inspiration, and guidance. Pay will depend upon relevant experience:

• $19-$20/hour, plus $500 sign-on bonus for 1-2 years relevant pro. baking experience.

• $21/hour, plus $1000 sign-on bonus for bakers with a minimum of 3-4 years relevant professional baking experience.
