Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures specific to integrative medicine, which may include hormone and thyroid management.
• Take vital signs, weight, and measurements.
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment.
• Collect patient specimens (blood, urine, etc.).
• Update patient medical records electronically in our EHR system.
• Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and handle insurance pre-authorization.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients by phone and in person.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
