Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Online Sales Specialist to join our growing e-commerce department. As an Online Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving online sales and providing excellent customer service to our clientele. The ideal candidate should have basic SEO knowledge, along with a strong understanding of the firearms industry and related online platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain our firearms store's online sales platforms, ensuring accurate product listings, pricing, and availability.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing detailed information and guidance on firearms-related products and services.
  • Monitor and promptly respond to website help-desk inquiries.
  • Monitor and engage with customers on firearms-related forums and social media platforms, building brand awareness and driving sales.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, product releases, and laws/regulations pertaining to firearms to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop effective online marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Coordinate with the shipping department to ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales or marketing is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the firearms industry, including terminology, different types of firearms, ammunition, and accessories.
  • Familiarity with popular online firearms selling platforms, such as gunbroker.com, guns.com, etc.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to respond to inquiries in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product listings.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of online marketing principles and strategies.
  • Preferable basic understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques to improve online visibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales experience in the firearms industry or related field.
  • Experience managing online stores and driving online sales.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing techniques to increase online presence and visibility.
  • Passion for firearms and personal familiarity with a wide range of firearms and accessories.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a team’s success.
