Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assist the General Manager to co-manage the daily operations of Spartan Safety, including but not limiting to providing strong leadership to enhance the efficiency of the crews, the fleet & the deployment of the Guardian Smart Flaggers (GSFs) to sustain the continuous growth of Spartan Safety.
- Partner with the GM to execute all strategic initiatives from the top management and add values to the company
- Collaborate with dispatch, deployment, site supervisors and the workers to ensure all daily onsite activities are in a smooth manner.
- Work with the Field Supervisors daily in site auditing and inspection to make sure all job sites are compliant & are up and running according to the plan.
- Maintenance and inventory of company assets – the trucks, equipment, GPS, signs, GSFs, tablets etc.
- Monitor all KPIs, metrics and the related reports to ensure operational excellence and efficiency are attained.
- Planning traffic control staffing requirements by, deploying company resources, resolving issues
- Meets traffic control demands by hiring, training, coaching and managing traffic control personnels
- Drafting traffic control plans, determining site material and equipment requirements
- Work with the field supervisor for all equipment and fleet upkeep & inventory taking
Requirements and Skills
- Must hold an Advanced MOT certification
- Experience in theTemporary Traffic Control Industry is a must
- Experience working with FDOT is a plus
- An experienced operations leader with a strong business sense and proven success in a pacey working environment
- Positive thinking with a can-do attitude; always willing to go for extra mile and hungry for success
- Organized, disciplined, detail-minded, multi-tasking, data & metrics driven
- Good Microsoft Excel skills
- Solid experience in managing crews, fleet in logistics/courier/traffic control industry
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication and writing skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
