Candidates for the UX/UI Designer Position will be contributing to the Operations and Maintenance of mission critical work in an agile environment. This is a very large-scale IT software development effort.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate UX & UI requirements in collaboration with product owners, business analysts, and developers
- Compile and analyze research, produce high-quality UX design solutions through journey maps, wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
- Participate in transforming high-level product roadmap initiatives into robust features that fully serve the needs of our customer
- A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, design systems, usability and accessibility concerns
- Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
- Speak with product users to find pain points in the product
- Create functional and beautiful visual and graphic elements that best serve the user interface
- Experience in, or knowledge of Agile methodology
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or years of experience plus additional 8 years of experience.
- 3-5 years of UX/UI design experience
- Experienced UX/CX individual industry/field experience
- Proven experience solving complex communication problems and designing world-class experiences for large-scale programs
- Proficiency with wireframe and visual design tools such as Figma
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work well in a team setting
- Possess excellent communication, time-management, and process-management skills

- This work is to be performed entirely outside of Colorado.
- In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work inside of the United States.
