Physical Therapy Assistant – PRN
Tampa General Hospital (TGH) Progressive Care Unit – TGH Progressive Care Unit is a nine bed unit with an elite team of acute care professionals who treat catastrophically ill, medically complex patients requiring extended acute care. PCU is primarily a ventilator weaning unit, as most patients are ventilator dependent with multiple co-morbidities. Physical Therapy Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to the implementation of the P.T. plan of care utilizing appropriate therapeutic activities to ensure maximal functional outcomes and reporting of patient's reaction to treatment, changes in patient's condition or deviations from the plan of care.

Job Qualifications:
1. Education – Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
2. Experience – Two years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
3. Licensure – Current State of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant licensure
4. Certifications – BLS required
