$70,000-$80,000 per year, DOE

Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a dynamic manufacturing company in search of a skilled Accountant! This role offers the opportunity to join a positive team with tremendous growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the Controller and Ownership to develop and execute processes for efficient F&A experience
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and act as a backup for Payroll duties
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income statements, and cash flow statements) for month-end and year-end activities
• Conduct month-end and year-end processes, including assisting an external Auditor for the Annual audit
• Manage Purchasing and Invoicing System
• Perform Cash and Sales data entry and reconciliation
• Maintain General Ledger accounts
• Reconcile Bank Accounts monthly, verify deposits, and address inquiries from the Bank
• Code Invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books
• Verify and enter Bank transactions, completing required Journal entries
• Perform general cost accounting and related duties for the Organization
• Conduct financial analysis and provide improvement recommendations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Business activities as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
• 3-4 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise preferred
• Willingness to mentor and collaborate with Executive team members
