Accountant
Onsite – Warren, OR
$70,000-$80,000 per year, DOE
Specialized Recruiting Group is partnering with a dynamic manufacturing company in search of a skilled Accountant! This role offers the opportunity to join a positive team with tremendous growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Controller and Ownership to develop and execute processes for efficient F&A experience
- Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and act as a backup for Payroll duties
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income statements, and cash flow statements) for month-end and year-end activities
- Conduct month-end and year-end processes, including assisting an external Auditor for the Annual audit
- Manage Purchasing and Invoicing System
- Perform Cash and Sales data entry and reconciliation
- Maintain General Ledger accounts
- Reconcile Bank Accounts monthly, verify deposits, and address inquiries from the Bank
- Code Invoices, set up new accounts, reconcile accounts, and close monthly books
- Verify and enter Bank transactions, completing required Journal entries
- Perform general cost accounting and related duties for the Organization
- Conduct financial analysis and provide improvement recommendations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Business activities as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 3-4 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Enterprise preferred
- Willingness to mentor and collaborate with Executive team members
