What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN Specialty Infusion Nurse position at Specialty Pharmacy Nursing Network, Inc (SPNN)?
Per Diem Infusion Registered Nurse Required:
- Active In-State RN License with no disciplinary action.
- 3 years Infusion experience of biological products in the home setting
- Current CPR
- Valid Driver’s license/ Proof of Insurance
- Recent TB results (with in last year)
- MMR Titers or Immunization Records
- Nursing Bag including: Blood Pressure Cuff, Stethoscope, Thermometer and Disinfectant
- RN must have access to a computer, iPad or Smartphone with touch screen for our Electronic Documentation App
- RN must have the ability to do Webinar Training(s) with webcam and speaker
Preferred Certifications:
- Ig-CN, CRNI, OCN
Nurse Responsibilities:
- Administration and Self Administration teaching of specialty pharmacy infusion therapies to patients with rare, chronic diseases in physician offices, clinics, infusion suites and home settings.
Nurse Experienced preferred:
- Infusion of IVIG, SCIG, Alpha 1 Anti-trypsin products, Biologic Response Modifiers, and enzyme replacement products in the home setting.
- Expert in Peripheral IV starts
- CVAD experience & knowledge
Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem
