Job Posting for Butcher/Meat Cutter at Specialty Shop
Job Functions:
- Greet customers and provide them with excellent service.
- Cut and prepare meats for display cases and customer orders.
- Maintain, fill, and rotate product in cases.
- Receive, inspect, and store deliveries, to ensure meat quality.
- Maintain high standards for product guidelines in sanitation, freshness, trim, and cutting.
- Perform opening and closing duties at shop, depending on schedule.
- Prepare fresh deli items and other items.
- Perform other kitchen and front of the house duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- This position requires good judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with others and as a team.
- Able to maintain a clean work station.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to lift up to 90 lbs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carryout detailed instructions.
- A passion for food.

Pay: $32,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

- Northfield, IL 60093: Relocate before starting work (Required)
