About Specto Technology
We are a small but growing company that provides monitoring solutions for geotechnical, structural & environmental applications. Our systems are used to monitor infrastructure like tunnels, bridges, excavations, buildings, etc. Our clients include engineers, developers, general contractors and government agencies.
Our facility comprises of an office/warehouse/workshop located in Linden, NJ.
POSITION
Position is full-time and will require candidate to assist with duties in our warehouse & workshop. Tasks will range from shipping (packing goods into boxes, printing shipping labels, etc.) to receiving (entering information into our inventory system, organizing and restocking) to assisting with manufacturing of finished goods (production, assembly, testing).
Qualifications Required
Candidate must have experience working with basic hand tools and applications on a Windows PC. Must have the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize/organize tasks and work unsupervised while reporting to management. Must be able to lift 50lbs and have a current driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Other duties, as required
Skills
- Proven working experience as a warehouse worker
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices, including inventory systems
- Experience with use of hand tools and light assembly
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- High school degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
