Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Delegation Supervisor
Hours - Monday Friday 8am-5pm
Position will require some on-call to include nights, weekends and holidays.
Position will require travel within the catchment area
Job Summary:
- Oversees the Nurse Delegation Program (NDP) for SpectraCare
- May require Psychiatric Nursing care under direct supervision of Director of Nursing, to include, but not limited to Intensive, Crisis, Residential and Outpatient.
- Acts as a liaison between medical and clinical staff
- Formulates accurate and sound nursing policies and ensures they are followed through accurately
- Provides Psychiatrists with medical/psychiatric information concerning clients
- Must be willing to become accredited as a MATT certified nurse and obtain certification
- Provide initial and ongoing training for MAC workers
- Supervise MAC workers on all medication issues
- Assess to determine if clients can self-medicate and reassess annually or as needed.
- Supervise MAS Nursing Staff
Requirements:
- Unencumbered Valid Alabama RN license
- Three (3) years experience in Psychiatric Nursing
- Meet requirements of Medicaid for approved Medicaid Provider Status
- Possess a valid driver's license with good MVR
- Must hold and maintain current CPR certification and First Aid training certificates
