Production Engineering Safety Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Safety Analyst. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage various large scale safety projects at Manufacturing Kentucky.
What You Will Be Doing
Managing PPE Program
Managing the on-site safety shoe store, PPE vendors, etc
Strive to find the latest and most effective PPE for various processes
Manage a team of Team Member behavior auditors
Support Equipment Safety checks (Kanban) to ensure equipment meets safety requirements before being released to production
Support the Weekend Work calendar for equipment buyoffs, audits, etc (approx. 1 weekend every 6 weeks) Train New Hire Safety Orientation
Various other projects to ensure compliance with, OSHA, and other standards
Requirements Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Occupational Safety or related field
Experience developing, implementing, and managing proactive safety programs
Experience creating, performing, tracking, and managing safety auditing systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)
