Spectrum Generation’s Facilities Manager is a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older and disabled adults in our community by ensuring our agency's facilities are problem free, safe, and well maintained.
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee all facility related activities. This position is responsible for the physical plant and building operations of three (3) Spectrum Generations’ owned facilities and is principle liaison on maintenance concerns with property managers/landlords for facilities/offices which the agency is a tenant.
The ideal candidate will be well organized, familiar with facility operations such as budgeting, contracting, project management, and experienced with general mechanical, electrical, and plumbing practices.
Position oversees compliance with building codes, capital improvements and related purchases, HVAC and plumbing systems, fire & safety inspections and routine repair and planned maintenance of all buildings, grounds and company owned vehicles.
This position is a Management position that does encompass some hands-on field work and supervision
Ideal candidate:
- will have five or more management or supervisory experience providing building maintenance for large residential/commercial buildings;
- demonstrated ability to manage mid to large sized facility projects from start to finish;
- ability to create and maintain electronic file systems and commercial maintenance data bases;
- ability to provide direct support i.e. three or more years of hands-on field experience;
- effectively communicate and influences internal and external stakeholders;
- possess excellent judgement and decision making;
- ability to lead cross functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
