*This position is currently offering a $3,000 bonus ($1,500 after completion of training & $1,500 after 1 year)*
Location: Methuen, MA. Adolescent Male Program "Bright Futures". Funded by the Massachusetts Department of Youth Services, Bright Futures_ is a youth-centered, family-focused residential substance abuse treatment program adolescent males. Utilizing a strengths-based, trauma-informed, individualized approach, Bright Futures teaches youth the skills necessary to maintain drug-free, pro-social lifestyles.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours. Awake overnight shift. Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00 pm-7:00 am
Pay rate: $17.50/hour
The Juvenile Correctional Officer or "Recovery Specialist I" is responsible for:
Ensuring residents are provided with a safe and secure environment by following the policies and procedures of the program and demonstrating a positive, responsible, and respectful presence on the unit.
Qualifications:
Must have experience working with at-risk adolescent males.
Ability to interact professionally with clients and staff required
Demonstrated qualities that evidence maturity, effective communication, listening and problem-solving skills.
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must provide proof of COVID vaccination or, as an alternative, appropriate documentation that will support either a medical or religious exemption.
