Job Description
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to provide Neuropsychological Testing in support of the San Diego, CA campus of the Uniformed Services University, The Health Sciences University of the U.S. Federal Government.
This contract position offers:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm
- Unique opportunity focused on data for research procedures
- Initially set for 6 month assignment beginning in Washington DC, then transitioning to San Diego, CA for 6 months

Job Requirements:
- Possesses a minimum of one year experience practicing independently as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, specifically involved with Neuropsychological testing.
- Possess and maintain current certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner (AANP)
- Possess a Master’s, Post Master’s or Doctorate degree from an advanced practice nursing program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
- State licensure as an independent advanced practice registered nurse
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Job Duties:
- Making assessments based on data sets
- The tests are completed as part of research procedures, not diagnotice purposes.
